I've finally got m.youtube.com to work on my pearl from telus.



here are my settings:


browser --> options --> browser configuration:



- check the following -

support javascript
terminate slow-running scripts
support html tables
support embedded media
support style sheets


go to youtube.com.

click on a video. click watch video.

when your media player opens, click the menu button on your phone, and click set encoding


ensure that auto mode default charset is enabled.

then, scroll down to highlight the character set below.


ensure that the following is chosen:

ISO-2022-CN


click ok.

the video will now be reconfigured & you can now stream youtube videos.

Geeze...what's up with Telus. YouTube streaming always worked w/out any mods or setting changes at all on my Verizon 8130.

So no one from Telus has been able to stream Youtube?

Didn't OS 4.5 make the youtube streaming automatic?

It worked on 4.3 for me w/out any particular settings changes.

I couldn't stream anything from youtube with 4.3 but after I upgraded to 4.5 I can.
