Default LinkedIn App Connection Problem

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone. Trying to get the new LinkedIn app working on a Verizon 9630 Tour. Installs fine, but after entering username and password I just get a spinning circle that never goes away. Never connects.

Anyone else seen this? Any suggestions?

Any help much appreciated,
Brett

I have not seen it, although that POS app. was gone from my 9630 in less than 24 hours.

Have you tried the old reliable battery pull?

P.S. You might want to update your device and carrier information.

Yeah, rebooted. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Tried all the obvious things I could think of. It might not be worth the trouble, but it's for one of my users who thinks it will be worth it, so trying to figure this out.

I installed and tried the LinkedIn Blackberry application and I don't see the same problem that you're seeing. It accepted my LinkedIn e-mail address and password without any issues and I was able to check the status updates of colleagues as well as change my status. I'm using it on my Blackberry Bold 9700 (BIS & WiFi)

Have you tried to play around with the permissions (i.e. giving trusted application status first to see if it works and then downgrading the permissions)?

Yeah. It works fine on my 9700 as well. I compared application permissions between the units and they were the same. Couldn't find anything there.

(sorry for delay, out a few days)

Thanks.
