Out of school but not a CEO (at least not yet). I use it for work for my contacts and appointments. I'm also a musician and use it for scheduling gigs and lessons on the side.

It's always a crap shoot when showing your device to non-pearl users. Normally I'm able to get them into a discussion about their current device and show them the benefits of the pearl. After you compare what their phone can't do and what the pearl can, they tend to be more responsive. But remember, the pearl is not for everyone and some people just refuse to make the leap into the pearl community, let alone the bb community.

first post here... i'm a law school student and currently use a 7100i but i'm looking to upgrade to the Pearl in a few weeks. once i switched to the blackberry i will never go back to another type of phone. the push email alone is worth the price of admission

i am also a manager with a DJ company. we have a staff of 30+ and usually run 4-5 affairs per night... it's very convenient to use BB Messenger and email to update each other during those nights.... e2dj (dot) com

Not to be rude, but...I honestly do not see the point in the justification of your use of the blackberry to your parents. Maybe we should put on our big boy pants and realize that their opinion on a phone may not matter too much in the big picture, but then again you live the way you choose. I just thought it was a little funny.
