Here is a pic showing more of the back of the cover. You can see that the speaker grill is cut out of the cover.

There are some people who have posted that they wanted a logo otherwise they would pass on purchasing it. What's poor Seidio to do?

Hopefully this battery does not ruin the Pearl's streamlined look becasue the bigger was was NOT subtle. It was huge and negated most of the cases including leather cases for fitting purposes.
I got it and within an hour I had a request for an RMA for return emailed to Seidio.

@ terminator

Based on the images posted by SF I'd say that it does not....

Looks pretty sweet and I agree, the extended was HUGE... But this looks to be a-ok...

Seidio is working on the rubberized case (of course with speaker opening) for BB8100 with this battrey. It should be ready in 3-4 weeks from now.

Alright thanks for the update. 2 ques for you. Did you ever get my PM and the battery door that comes with the 1250 mAh battery match with the Cingular phone or just with the T-Mo one?

like SF said "That logo can come off quite easily. A few strokes with denatured alcohol and it was gone." I highly doubt they will run 2 different lines just to have some w/o the logo.

Yeah, I have mine in and working now, got it yesterday. So slim that I actually don't like it as much as the 2400 battery. So that is points to those that don't want to lose the "slim factor". You don't with this battery.

Yes, it is slim, it is a slim, but extended battery for BB8100.

Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. I received my battery and door yesterday and love the new cover so far. I cannot believe how muffled the speaker sounded with the original cover. I charged the battery all last night and will report back with my findings once I see how long it lasts on a charge. Just want to thank SanFran for the review, and Seidio for offering great products to us.

P.S. I have the t-mob door on my cingy pearl and can barely tell the color difference. Just a little bit darker in color, but I don't mind the difference.

So far the extended power of this battery is obvious on my device. Got to love it!

Of course not...it's all about the marketing! What can you buy now that doesn't have the manufacturer's name on it? If the Astros have to play at Minute Maid Park and you should proudly display our name to all your friends!

Question...does the cover stay on any better than the OEM one? I would suspect so, just b/c it is extended some so the actual battery would hold it on better. Just curious.
