Default Setting Up BB Pearl on a new network?

Please Login to Remove!

I've recently given my BB pearl to a friend. I was on O2 and have cenclled my contract with them. I had unlimited BB email etc. on BIS.

The phone is unlocked and works with other Networks SIMs to amke voice calls and texts.

My friend is now trying to set up the email service on Orange (I assume she has a BB Price Plan!) ... She tells me that the Orange account won't work as the BB is still "paired" to my O2 account.

I've called O2 and explained.. They've ordered me a code which will take 28 days to arrive. Does that sound right to everyone? Or have I simply ordered a PAC code, which I don't think I need as voice and text work OK???

ANy ideas what else I need to do, if anything? HELP!!!!
