Default Loose back cover

Please Login to Remove!

Hey,

The back cover of my BB is a little loose. It seems as it could come off any moment ( even though it clicked it well ) and I don't feel good about it.

Now, my best bet is that the spring in the pusher ( at the bottom ) is a little worn off. Could this be replaced? Is anyone else noticing lose back covers?

Thanks.

Or you can try tightening the fit f the back plate by inserting between the battery and the plate a business card cut up etc. Worked for me.

Make sure you cut down the business card so that there is no chance of it interfering with your battery contacts.

Thanks. The trick worked great but now my mute button doesn't put the phone in standby any more. This immediately happened after doing the trick above. The paper is not interfering with my battery.

Hard reset (bat removal) solved it ... for now.

Pull the business card out and try the mute button again, just to be sure that the two are related.

Mine is still fine after doing that hard reset.

@Misho: Remove battery for 10 (?) seconds and then try again.
