If it changed by itself to WAP it means that there was some issue with the Default connection method.. I did set it back to Default, and web browsing went back to normal. It was pretty odd to say the least. I was in the same area for the entire time this was happening, but I suppose it could have been a temporary outage in the vicinity. The fact that the data connection went back to normal immediately after I switched the connection method back to Default would have to be a pretty big coincidence if that were the case though...
I removed the app mainly because the sent messages weren't being received by the intended recipient. As stepchild said, the interface is awesome. I just couldn't justify keeping the app on the device if I had to use the native SMS composer anyway. Perhaps I'll give it another shot to make sure that it wasn't just a random occurence.
