Hey guys,

I know there are services out there to get a 1-800 number with a monthly rate...and it would forward the call to ur cell or whatever...

do you guys know any company that does that, but with local numbers?

I change my phone number a lot, and if i can get 1 phone number that could be forwarded to any number at all time..that would be awesome!!

forgot to mention im from canada! i think tht at&t will only work for the states.

I know wil the toll free number, ive seen services of 2$ a month + long distance fees and all!

well at&t is a voip phone look for one in canada they have great features

i would only want to use the number to forward..thats all!

yes and with at&t you can have as many numbers you want or you can change it as many times as you want for $5 each

Bell Canada has a service called single number reach. I have had my number for over 8 years, through a bunch of different cell numbers.

You can even have it fronted by an actual 800 number if you want

Oooh, that is a great question to ask. The AT&T one is a great option. I would love to have one number that people can call that will be directed to me regardless of my phone number. Good luck on your search!

Years ago MCI had a service called contact. They gave you one number with 4 preset terminations. I had the office, home, cell and pager preset. I could call my number and change where it went realtime. I wonder if anyone still has a service like this?

Your calls can follow you to any number (or multiple numbers) that you select and through their web site, you can pick up voice mail or fax messages on line. I'm not sure if they have local numbers in Canada, but it would be worth checking out. You can also get email notification of voicemail or fax messages sent to your blackberry.

The Bell SNR service does all this. It used to be called primeline then a couple of years ago they enhanced it and called it Single Number Reach. It works great.
