I am planning to purchase a Dopod C730 (WM 6) device when I am going on a vacation in Asia in Oct.

I also read Dopod's (now HTC) website saying they have the BB connect for C730 model.

However, I wonder how the BB Connect work on a WM device.

1) Would I get a PIN as the PIN on my BB 8700g?
2) Do I have to have a BB data plan in order to use BB Connect? i.e., can I just have a total internet plan from TMO and use the BB Connect on a WM phone?

Any info would be very helpful for me to decide if I should get this toy or not.

Yes, you would get a PIN auto generated once the installation is completed.
