Mobiola Xplayer Earphone Problem

I have a tmo 8320, xplayer 1.3.3, when playing songs sound only comes out the handheld's speaker unless I remove and replug in the earphone connection. This happens with the delivered earphones and my ue metro.f1 200v earphones. The delivered bb media player works fine. I've tried changes to the settings, general, playback audio path without success. I'm missing something. Can you help? Thanks in advance!
