Default 8320 wont receive service books

the phone was working for the past 5 months, then all of a sudden this happens:

i cannot receive or send email/access internet browser (MDS).

the EDGE is in upper case indicating data plan, i have a BIS account

I also went to options>advanced options>host routing and hit menu to do the register now. got confirmation message back and good to go. That didn't help.

I logged into my BIS and made sure PIN and IMEI were correct and re-sent service books. never received the message on my phone.

did many battery pulls and still nothing.

i am running OS 4.5.0.52. my service carrier is of no help, as i did everything they advised me to do.

here is what I did:

deleted SB's
...battery pull (1min)
then HRT>register now
-received confirmation message
...battery pull (1min)
sent SB's
...battery pull (1min)
-still no email service books have reached my phone and no email icons.
sent SB's again
...battery pull (1min) and this time removed SIM and re-installed SIM
-still no email service books have reached my phone and no email icons.
...battery pull (1min)
-still no email service books have reached my phone and no email icons

i even wiped the device a tried several 4.5 OS.

and still no service books.

PLEASE HELP IT HAS BEEN 2 WEEKS SINCE THE PROBLEM

Default 8900 wont receive service books

I am having the exact same problem as Speedline and I have also carried out similar exercises except for the fact that the instructions were actually given by the carrier's tech support.

They got me to remove and replace the battery for about 50 times in three days. Finally they booked it as an official complaint. Which probably means nothing's gonna happen now considering who my carrier is.

Worst is before I deleted the service books, I could atleast send and recieve the mails, message on bb messenger and browse net when I was in WiFi coverage. Then they asked to delete all books and since I am not receiving any service books, the phone is pretty much just a phone.
