I need the help of you genius guys and girls, i purched a 8520 from Oman, had a BB plan so internet and emails came through, i moved to england and am with Tesco (O2) pre-pay contract, had to purchased and internet bundle in order to surf, and was told by service provider to install Opera in ordered to surf net and a very long winded way to access my emails, problems started when i installed/updated my BB, i cannot surf the net even with Opera now, checked with service provider internet bundle is still valid, please help i really want to keep my BB untill i get a contract set up, so have to stick to pre-payed, like i say it was working untill i updated it from the net, tried to restore it back prior to update but still no playing please help.

ur bb is locked by the prpaid company and u cant used with other company..u have to vist any saller in england and they will help u..

When you did the upgrade, the service books from the previous BB data plan were deleted. You need those to make things work. You must have a BB data plan, not a generic data plan.

You get the BB data plan from your carrier. Call them up and have then add and activate on your account.

Read the link I posted above. Also, go to the FAQ and find one on "What you can do with a Generic Data Plan".

Without any data, all you have is voice and SMS.
