That is customer service!
That is very impressive and obviously Protective Solutions is a company that backs their products and warranty.

Based on your feedback, I now know what brand of screen protector I am purchasing, TODAY. Thanks!!

Another vote for InvisibleShield. Got the 8700 last Monday, put the full body protector on on Thursday. Followed the instructions and got a perfect fit with no bubbles. The screen does have a slight orange peel look when held at extreme angles but it's perfectly clear at normal viewing angles.

I just wish they made pieces to cover the left and right sides.

So Invisible shield requires you to wet down the pieces and the ScreenPatronus does not right?

I've been using the invisibleSHIELD and love it. Dropped my 8700c in Spain and though the shield was badly scratched, the screen itself was completely protected. I received a replacement in 3 days and am back to a clear, scratch-free display.

Interesting. Lots of people seem to have gotten the 'anti-glare' Screenpatronus shields. I ordered directly from the company and got the super-clear shiny ones. I didn't specify that but I love it and next time I will specify "clear - not anti-glare" to be safe.
I actually think that they are even better then invisible. Somehow the colours seem that much richer with Screenpatronus installed. However the screen does seem a bit darker in bright sunlight.

Yep I agree cooperpwc.

The Screen Patronus is definetly clearer than the Invisible Shield when properly installed.

However, it does not last as long.

I guess I'll order Screenpatronus. It will also be cut alot better than my freehand job. lol....
The Boxwave Crystal protector for 8700 is way too big, doesn't fit, rides up on the chrome at the edges and thus can't be made to lay flat on the screen.

Don't buy this one.

Update: After returning the original, which clearly wasn't for an 8700G, I got a replacement today which is quite good.

I'm just waiting on my Boxwave Crystal screen protector. I've been using them for years on my previous PPC's and Palm's, and am very happy with them. The one I ordered is brand new for Boxwave, so will have to wait until it arrives to see if it's as good as the ones for PPC's.

I've tried tracing, copying and cutting to size some screen protectors by Nintendo, made for the Nintendo DS. Comes in a pack of 2 (one for each DS screen). They are good quality, clear, and easy to apply (very light adhesive on the back side of the protector). A pack costs around $3 and you can get them at most electronics stores.
So if you feel confident in cutting these protectors to fit your BB screen, then this is one of the cheapest routes you can go. Once they are cut to the right size (if you have the manual dexterity, and patience, to do it), it works great, and they are crystal clear, with solid protection.

Once these protectors wear out, I'll probably get a Screen Patronus or something that it pre-cut for my BB 8700g. I don't want to go throgh that tracing and cutting hassle again.

Unhappy How do I apply the Screen Protector

Just received my screen protector PDair for my blackberry 7250 ?

How do I put this on the screen, do I put on the sticky side ?

The instructions are not clear.

There is one sticky side which is not clear and then there is one that is clear but that is not sticky.

Which one goes onto the screen ?

Sorry I am such a DUH guy !

Thanks.

I've been looking for a clear ScreenPatronous that does not have the anti-glare but everywhere I go the product says "clear with anti-glare." How do I find the clear one?

I just received my ScreenPartonous screen protector today. I just called them and specified that I wanted the "clear" not the "anti-glare" protector.

I could call them but it sounds like it takes them weeks to deilver it. Any stores that have the "clear?" How long did yours take to arrive Svenster?

I placed the order on 10/11, got an email confirmation of payment, it was shipped w/in 24 hours and I received it on 10/14, so it took three days. I elected std shipping to the North West. I thought I talked with them by phone, but I know I actually placed the order online. I was talking/emailing with lots of screen protector vendors so I appoligize if I mistated that their number was on their web site.
