Default at&t media net problem, help please

Please Login to Remove!

Just got my blackberry flip unlocked. I am coming from an at&t curve. I was able to get everything working, email sms, mms. The only thing I can’t seem to get working is my at&t media net. I have the right TCP settings so does anyone have any ideas on what may be wrong or what to do.

Default MMS Problems with BB 8220 Flip on AT & T

I am having similiar problems. I just purchased an unlocked BB 8220. Through many trials I now have everything working with the exception of MMS. Have called AT&T with no luck. I have changed the TCP settings as stated on this board but it is still not working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The more detail the better.

I was able to get everything to work. You must send the Service Books from your BIS account web page to get the MMS service books, requesting them from your phone will not get the books you need.

Use these settings for TCP and CAPs matter;
APN: wap.cingular
user name for APN:WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1

If that doesn't work try this one, (I have this one on my 8220)
APN: wap.cingular
user name for APN:WAP.CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1

Did you send the books from your BB or from your BIS account web page? Does MMS Servive books showup in your service books on your BB?

Default NO MMS as well

I too just received a 8310. I am now on my company's BES and I do not have the MMS listed in the options. There is two service book entries, but no way for me to use MMS, its just not there. I have racked my brain and gone through every setting. I called ATT and they had no idea. The conclusion was that maybe there is a setting in the BES that my company turns on and off, allowing me MMS? Can anyone confirm that this is possible? The strange thing is that my account that they set up is checked off to allow unlimited messages and MMS is listed.

Someone please stop my insanity!
