Got a BB 9000...I get the above message when starting up. when connected to device manager it does not recognize connection nor OS installed on Phone...I've loaded BBSAk in an effort to pump life back into it...but it too doesn't recognize OS on device...Is this a total Nuke to breath life back into this device?

Wipe the device and reload the OS. I recommend Jl_cmdr to wipe (see the FAQ) and the latest 9000 OS and instructions can be found in the yellow sticky at the top of the 9000 section. Make sure that you follow the instructions exactly.

Thanks bro...I didn't end up wiping the phone which may be a mistake...however I reloaded a newer OS and everything seems to be working again...I couldn't even do a back up and figured everything would be lost...go figure.
