Does this mean that the new version of plazmic SDK has been released? If so we should start seeing some great new themes.

Any idea how soon it might be released?

Edit: to the general public?

I bought this theme, way back when it was first released. I had to replace my curve due to trackball issues covered by the warranty. Any idea of bplay will make me re-buy it? Or since I already bought it once let me re-download it. Surely they keep some sort of records.

rpjohs - do you have the original email they sent you when you bought the crossbar theme? Have you tried re-downloading it?

I had my original order number and was able to get a new activation code from them Sudoku - it took a couple of days - but they took care of it for me.

Edit portion : More Questions for you. I have been using Jason Calhoun's Titanium Bottom Zen for the past month and really like the way this theme is put together. What do you currently use as your theme? Did you think this was worth the $7 bucks? I have not paid for many themes as there are so many outstanding free ones to choose from, but I am intrigued by the video.

I currently use the Today Plus theme from mobile.blackberry.com. I loved the crossbar theme when I had it, thought it was very sleek looking. I switch the themes up every week or so, usually goes something like this; Today Plus, 9000 Precision, Verizon and T-Mo Blue.

To second this request, can anyone with the Crossbar theme give us a decent review? I have the L-theme now and I'm pretty happy, but there is a big craze over this and I'm not sure why.

Not entirely sure this was done with only 4.5

I have the crossbar theme and I like it a lot. The homescreen icons are are on a carousel which moves as you move along the icons. Pretty cool.

You can move some of your icons onto this carousel too if you wish.

One minor thing is that when highlighting an icon it is a little blue light, this is sometimes not seen too well when it is behind certain icons with a lot of colour in them for example, the worldmate live icon but it is a very minor complaint as the name of the program appears on the screen.

When I got it it was $6.99 (Uk £3.50) and I was happy to pay that.

I use it with my own wallpaper.

Hope that helps.

That is a great review, thanks for your time!

I have one follow-up question if somebody who uses Crossbar and doesn't mind answering. I had the Bphone theme and I loved it, but after switching, I realized it took up a bit of the speed (it lagged a bit, not a huge amount, but a difference when I went back after using it for so long). The Crossbar theme looks very graphic intensive, so I was wondering if it had the same issue.

Thanks so much again, I am going to debate this one because I'm also not sure if better themes might be flooding after 4.5 comes out.

For those who like this go over to blueroomssolution.com and look at Mothy's new Vista style themes. They are free!

Doesn't seem to lag as much as other themes I've used but that's just me. One thing I did notice however, is that for some reason, a few of my icons got doubled up. Not sure why since this is supposed to work on OS 4.5...but again, that's just me. I simply 'hide' the other icon so I don't have to see it twice. The only thing I'm not loving is the 'comic sans' typeface. Just seems to be a little, well 'cutsie' for a theme I consider to be more on the futuristic side. That aside, it's a nice theme and I'll probably keep it for a bit. I also have the Explorer theme and I like this one too except that when you lock the screen, the type that comes up on your locked screen looks a little funky....
