blackberry is not a very secure network so i don't think you should use online banking with it. also it is very easy to loose so someone could access ur bank account...

Hello Tina.

Ever since you got your blackberry, you're turned into a huge nerd. .

Checking your balance is the least of your worries, you should focus on being less nerdy, stop complaining about your blackberry, and go get drunk.

P.S. Put on your seatbelt.

I have no problem using online banking with different organizations using the basic BES browser. There is the ocassional problem with Java, but the main bank that I deal with recognizes that I am on a mobile device and compensates for that.

I guess it just depends on which bank you're with. :p

in the browser options make sure you have the java options checked and try to set the emulation mode to IE.

That's baloney. I guess the fact that the U.S. Federal Government and all kinds of state and local agencies that need access to secure email use BlackBerry means absolutely nothing. Where do you get your information? As for losing a device, that could happen to anyone with ANY sensitive information stored on it. Actually mobile banking is not stored on a Blackberry, it is accessed through a website with a password and username. Does the threat of something happening usually stop you from living? I might get hit by a bus today, so I don't think I'll leave the house.

Yep, and it is not subject to getting infected with viruses, password stealing trojans, keyloggers, etc. like your PC is.

OK....this may seem like an obvious (or stupid) question.....but are you using the right address?

The reason that I ask is that with Bank of America, the actually have TWO addresses for mobil banking. One of them WILL NOT work with a BB no matter what you try, and the other address that you have to search for on their site (after you log on with a PC and activate mobil banking) works just fine.

Check out their website and see if you've got any other addresses to use.
