Default New BD version 6.0 still can't sync Bluetooth

Please Login to Remove!

Attached are the 2 error messages I received when trying to sync via bluetooth.

I always check to see if I can finally sync bluetooth whenever there is a new Desktop Manager... but it is yet to be.

I hope they work on this because if you sync a lot it is nice to do it without cables. And I know it's not my computer as I bluetooth sync other devices...

I also have had nothing but trouble with this piece of junk. 5.01 desktop manager worked fine...So I reinstalled it, and it works via bluetooth, but now I have to log in everytime.

Why did RIM release such a buggy piece of junk (6.0)???

I am glad to know you got the Bluetooth to sync at all. I have constantly struggled with that.

As for BD 6.0 and it's "issues." I don’t know but it was released within days of the Torch which is running the new 6.0 OS. The Desktop Manager also needed to run with Microsoft Office 2010 and Exchange 2010. Maybe they pushed the release before they were fully ready with all functionality to accommodate their new device OS and newer software. There are posts on here pointing to comments by RIM that say further functionality for certain features will be delivered later.

Of course I don’t know, this is just a guess - but I don’t think their intention is giving the consumer “less”… So hopefully “everything” everybody wants and uses will eventually make it into BD6.0.

Keeping my fingers crossed…
