Hey is anyone having this problem. people are sending me e-mails they some times come right thru right away sometimes 1/2 hour later. then when they do come thru they are all at once. anyone have any ideas?
i do have full antenna and my NXTL are in all caps.

Not sure exactly what you mean but RIM polls your email accounts every 15 minutes. If mail is found, that is sent to your device and RIM will poll again in 2-3 minutes. If mail is found again, that is sent and RIM will repoll every 2-3 minutes until nothing is found. At which time, RIM reverts to the 15 minute poll cycle.

Some mail such as gmail and yahoo can be set up to arrive in near real time. I suggest you do a search to find out how to do that if it is an option for you.

Is there a way to force a poll or check for emails or aquire a email check manuelly when i want?

Nope. Email is pushed to your BB as BIS gets it from your mail server(s).

If you want faster push you need BES, Yahoo, gmail or you can set up forwarding via your *.blackberry.net. However, the latter approach has a few downsides.

I am using GMail with the imap settings and my EMail arrives on my phone immediately. Usually before it displays on the web page. I just don't like the lack of true two way sync that GMail and RIM need to fix. Otherwise, it works great.

Ok what about the sprint.blackberry.net e-mails is that close to realtime or is that like using aol sometimes fast sometimes slow
