Has anyone else noticed the menu button no longer responds in Opera Mini after updating the 8350i software ?? I am using ver 4.2 of Opera Mini.

I am also having this same problem with the Bolt browser. This sucks !!!

I'm having a "no-menu visible" problem, for one. If it shows itself for a second, it disappears as I try to click on an option from the drop down menu, and it eventually disappears altogether. No menu either on Opera mini 4.2 nor on BOLT. Yes it sucks.
Also, opera mini was very unresponsive, eventually showing me only 2 videos from youtube, which took about 3-4 tries and a wait of 5 mnutes each... sheesh. Hope a fix is on the way. I wrote to Bolt today about it. support@boltbrowser*com

I was told that a new theme will correct the menu not showing problem. However, there are no working themes available for the 8350i yet.

Did anyone have luck getting Opera Mini 4.2 to play nicely with the 8350i?

Change your themes... There has been an issue with the menu of Opera Mini and certain themes.

I had problem with it trying to adjust settings. I can get it to surf fine, but when i try to add bookmarks and adjust other settings i can't save the adjustments.

Specifically, if your theme uses transparency in the menu background, you will experience the "disappearing menu" in Opera Mini. A theme without transparency in the menu background will fix it.

I just tried both opera mini and bolt on my 8350. The menu disappears for both, so they are not useable. I have to reboot my phone to get out of the applications. I tried both themes that came with the 8350 and no change. There is no option to get rid of a theme. So, I guess we are stuck with the slow bb browser.

Go over to Crackberry forums and download the Visible Menus theme. Works with Bolt and Opera.

Thanks. That worked. Crackberry website also seems to be more user friendly.
