Wirelessly posted (9530; .135 MF231)

Try a different USB port not a USB hub. That multistage error is related specifically to a low powered USB port.

try connecting phone using usb port but .start the apploader with the battery out .let it start the process of upgrading os then put battery back in see if that helps.takes about 45 min.

pull battery, run loader.exe fully through. device will bootup and get a no battery error.
put battery back in, device will boot to a 507 error(no os)
have the latest 4.5 os installed in windows, make sure all others were removed
run loader.exe again which will load the latest version fresh

you get that error after the battery is back in the device?
sounds like you might want to look into warrenty options. Have you called your carrier or talked to manufacturer yet?

Well, here's yet another reason NOT to purchase a BlackBerry from eBay. Sorry.
