Default MAC Address of wireless BB

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all. We have been trying to track down a 'rogue' wireless MAC address that's causing some trouble on some access points. The MAC identifies it as a RIM device, but I don't see where I can view the MACs of the BBs in BB Manager. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Don't think you can. But you could reserve that MAC address on the DHCP and give it an address that doesn't work.

The AP problem was cleared up a few weeks ago (elegant solution BTW TargetIT). I was researching ways that we could investigate these things in the future. It seemed odd that there wasn't a way to list a BB's MAC from the BES Manager.

Well I think part of the problem is that WiFi is fairly new to the BB - they probably consider it an add-on feature. I'm sure eventually it will show up for this exact reason. With all the features BES has, it surprises me when they don't include something.
