Default Migration problem - merge DB's for BES 4.1.6.

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

We've recently been consolidating our Exchange environment and we have to move users to a different location and merge BES servers/databases together - migrate them.

The problem we have here that if we go the way of wiping/reactivating users it will not work as we have to move more than 3000 users from different parts in US.

I was looking for the way how to merge the Configuration DB's and found and old KB10965 but that's no longer listed in BlackBerry Knowledge center so I think it's not applicable anymore.

But still - merging DB's will be the best solution for us in terms of not affecting the users.

We are running BES 4.1.6 and Exchange 2003 SP2.

Was anyone dealing with such a "small migration" recently?

Yeah, that's the discontinued KB article. That's why I've asked what is the current status.

Sent question to my RIM friends so hopefully there will be other way (which honestly, i don't believe).

So, no reply from RIM friends so far, anyone experienced the same issue?
And please, no, we will not have BES 5.0 to help us with the migration.
