Default White Screen

Please Login to Remove!

I just installed a new housing, and the phone is just stuck on the white screen.

I have done the hard reset and still no changes. Any help?

Try opening up the bold again to make sure everything is tightly back it in its place.

Obviously not broke because you can receive calls. Mod? Are you not suppose to help instead of making smart comments?

I did help you. You modded a new BlackBerry and screwed it up.
And I am not a moderator here.

@NJBlackBerry The first 21K posts are difficult, then it becomes rather clear that when people ask for help they appreciate receiving some help and encouragement rather than attitude.

Give it some time, you're almost there.

@Xion901 I doubt it would help much but there are 2 more posts with similar issues one started by yours truly:

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...een-death.html

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...defective.html

From all the work i've done on mine i seriously doubt it's a software issue that can be fixed with wipes/reinstalls. Everything points towards hardware failure and my advice would be to either source a new screen or a new handset. Pay attention the screens on the Bold come in 3 different versions that are incompatible to each other. This pic would help you identify yours and source the appropriate needed.

My comment was regarding post #3 where the OP wrote "looks like alot people had the problem and theres no solution"

Which is ridiculous. Has anyone seen a lot of threads about people changing housing and having problems?

And it's not attitude - it's experience.

Well NJ what do you expect coming from some with 20K+ posts, when someone needs help your first answer is "looks like alot of people had the problem"?
