My 8130 pearl is not letting my recieve media files useing bluetooth,
It is letting me pair with devices but when i try to recieve a file it tells me its failing,

Any ideas

Are you selecting "Receive using Bluetooth" before sending from the other device?

Given the fact that there are several steps involved in connecting and transferring files via Bluetooth - it may be beneficial and quicker if you describe what exactly steps you took prior to receiving the failed transfer notice.

Well first,
you would pair with the device,
With bluetooth on go to media file you want to send,
Press send useing bluetooth,
The other phone would press Receive using Bluetooth
Then allow transaction or whatever press save and wait for file to send

I get threw all these steps untill the file is about to send

I have a similar problem but for reciving files from other devices, my BB 8100 shows me an error "Java exception" and the other phone reboots. I tried to update the BB software but the problem persist.
I can just send files.
