Default Need a Good Weather Radar for 8310

Please Login to Remove!

Looking for a website or app that offers a good animated weather radar that can be zoomed into a certain area of city, county or state. Any ideas besides Weather Underground or BB Weather?

Berryweather is currently in a private beta. The new version will have radar.

Try My-Cast - Weather on your mobile phone..
You can create a free web weather account, and the animated radar is for your locations set on your account.

My-Cast site says there's a $3.99 fee charged to your wireless bill each month.

WeatherBug Direct is free, and has animated radar with email alerts when severe is near, very customizable as well.

Here- try this:

Weather

it's simple, small, and the radar is animated and zoom-able. Once you get to the page, set it for your local zip code. It also highlights and tracks severe weather T'storms. I use it all the time.

Berryweather is now out of beta. It now has cell tower and GPS support, radar actually on the app itself instead of getting on line on a web page, and you can customize the radar instead of using the stock Berryweather radar. Example, you can use a weatherunderground, or accuweather radar instead.
You can get it using your mobile browser at mobihand.com

Will weather apps work without a data plan?

Let me voice my support for BerryWeather from BellShare.com, too. When the problems occurred with BBWeather the last time, I decided to bite the bullet and get a good, solid supported weather app. (Don't misunderstand, I appreciate all that Tateu did to keep it running and even do enhancements over the past year or so.) BerryWeather was about $8 after a discount coupon and is absolutely marvelous... features include multiple day forecast, temp/conditions icons, radar maps, multiple locations (up to 10, including a GPS/cell location choice)... I highly recommend it!

How would they get the weather data without one? I can't think of a BB model equipped with weather instrumentation.
