I have a symbol on my home screen that puzzles me. It clearly indicates some form of incoming message but what kind of message?

It is in the top left corner and it looks like a white circle with an arrow going from 2 o'clock towards 8 o'clock. Also there is a red dot at 2 o'clock on the circle. There is a "1" to the left of the circle indicating 1 message I preume

There are lots of threads on this.

It's a BlackBerry App World notification. You have an app that needs updated. You should be able to find the notification in your Messages folder to clear the notification.

Maybe but sometimes you need to know what the answer is called before you can search for it. I am well aware of the Search button!
