Default Web sites that function on the blackberry

Is there a list available of sites that look good on a Blackberry - i.e. they're functional? Does google/cnn/etc. have special sites for handheld devices?

Not everyone has time to read every message in every forum...nor to chastise every person who asks a question.

There is a guy who created a whole page just for blackberry type links. Its full of links that will work on the blackberry. Search for it. I will do the same search and eventually post my results.

Too simple to ignore the post if you think they can find it in a search? I wish I had time to stay at home in my parents attic and look at every post.

But while I'm sitting in the attic, I still use the "Search" feature.

Not only does Dawn read every post... he also replies to just about every one.
At 19+ posts per day, and 3600+ posts in total... he's clearly the most active user on these boards.

Dawg... step away from the keyboard for a few minutes... Damn! ;)

Just because he reads every post and responds does not really mean anything. I have noticed that at least half of his responses provide no useful information. They either show agreement or disagreement with the topic and that's it. I think everyone just needs to chill out. There are many different people in the world and they all think differently. Some people search...some do not. Why can't we just be a supportive group...if someone asks a question that has been asked and answered...and you have time to answer it..then just answer it. If you don't want to answer it then just ignore. We dont have to throw a fit because someone asks a question that has aleady been answered.

A search sometimes is quicker than typing a post. Mark's FAQ's are always a good place to start. I recommend always doing a search. I don't have tpp many posts because I can usually find what I am looking for by searching..

That being said....

Can anyone tell me how to unlock my BB7290?
Can I use my bluetooth to connect to my computer?
Where can I donwload ringtones?
Will RIM ever put a camera in the BB?
Who on this board really knows when the 8700 will be released?

I could really care less what you think.I am far from living in my parents attic buddy. I have a family I do very well for myself which is why I have time to come here. You didnt have to respond but you did. I come here because I want to and I dont want to hit new post and see the same stupid ass question over and fin over. So get over your self and go jump in a friggan lake. And what of value have you added by opening your pie hole today hmm answer that.

Speaking as a new kid on the block, I always search a message board when I'm trying to figure something out. However, the huge amount of info that some boards contain sometimes serve to confuse me and I try to whittle down my questions to very specific ones. I really like the suggestion that if someone asks something and you can help, great! If it annoys you that they are repeating other questions, then just leave that post alone. I visit several other message boards on varying subjects and see repeated questions over and over and over. Yes, it can drive you batty, but all in all the message boards I have used for years now have been incredibly helpful and if someone wants to repeat a question, far be it from me to criticize.

These are great boards, by the way! Good job!

Come on folks... This is meant to be a friendly helpful place, we don't need attacks on fellow members, we don't need smartaleck replies...

Perhaps a couple of you would prefer to edit your posts to reflect just how nice and kind we really are?

Thanks!
