I have a bb bold 9000 that i need to get unlocked, it's with Rogers in Canada.
my IMEI is: 359614025657136 .
Could someone please get me a MEP code asap...?

Rogers might give you the code for free if you're a customer in good standing for 6 months. Otherwise you have to pay for it. Unlocking codes are unique to each device and there is no "code generator" for BlackBerrys. This forum has a paid unlocking service, as does HorizonWirelessOnline.com

but another issue I have is that after downloading new apps from blackberry desktop,
My bb no longer shows me whats enabled/disables under sim card ( options)
even when I type mepd:S

And Rogers no longer will give a free unlock code.

effie, I have no idea what downloading new apps and what enabled in your SIM card has to do with each other. Could you explain further?

sorry, I resolved that issue...
the things is I have both my IMEI & MEP codes, but it seems when I put in my 8 digit mep code it doestn accept it and says error :s

I heard you can use bbm w/o a data plan... just over wifi?
but when I add ppl on bbm it always says "pending"

yu will need data for bbm as it connects to the bbm RIM relay
