Default Curve won't turn on, red light blinking

Please Login to Remove!

I am on Verizon. I went into Blackberry desktop manager and clicked on "check for updates". There were several updates, so I installed them. Now the Curve won't turn on and has a blinking red light in the top right corner. The red light pattern is a pause, then 2 blinks, then pause, repeat.

I've taken out the battery and put it back in several times, did nothing.

welcome to the forums.

One post is enough, you posted this 5 times. Please be patient.

Follow these steps to the letter: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ilanguage.html

If the device is not detected by your PC, then follow these steps:
What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe - BlackBerryFAQ

This could take up to an hour, so be patient and DO NOT disconnect your device until you see your installation complete and your homescreen again.

You really need to post more details. What exactly did you try?

Well if you disconnected your device while your PC was writing to it, you most likely corrupted some of the files/file structure.

If you connect your device to your PC, does DM detect it?

I suggest following steps 1 and 2 in the first link that I posted. Then follow the steps in the second link I posted.

It may take several attempts before a connection is made, just be patient.
