My phone for whatever reason won't Text Verizon customers. I att. My phone shows it going through but they never get it. Any help? Or should I call att and throw down?

If you are able to text everyone carrier by Verizon, it doesn't sound like an ATT concern. I would say a throwdown with anyone won't get you far.

yes and i called both verizon and att and they both pointed the finger at each other. im just gunna get rid of my friends with verizon

Does this happen with everyone you text that is on Verizon or just one person? Could they text you without any problems? If they sent you a message and you replied back do they get it?

they send me a text no problem i get it immediately. i respond and get nowhere. im totally clueless.

thanks to who ever fixed the thread title. tried doing that from my phone and was in way over my trackball

May sound dumb but do you have their 10 digit phone number in the contacts of your phone? Years ago when I first got a text capable phone, I found that I was not able to text someone in my own areacode without the 10 digit number.

Have you been able to send ANYONE a text? If not then perhaps it's not just Verizon?

Also, you may want to check and make sure your device has the right Service Center number entered. It could be that your texts are not making it beyond a local server. I recall having to fix mine on a new device some time back.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive done it. i think. Ok heres the breakdown. In th SMS settings i changed my data coding to 7 bit and my network to send over to CS preferred. For now it seems to be working. If anyone has any feed back on these changes i.e. what are your setting please let me know.

7 bit coding here also, just CS, not preferred. I don't have a prob sending to people on other networks.

I have an unlocked pearl from tmobil and it has pboblrms texting certin others. But i gotta 9000 yesterday so I hope this dosent happen aswell
