Default Storm Not Sync'ing with MS Outlook

Please Login to Remove!

Lately I have been having OTA update problems between my Bberry (VZW.148) sync'ing with MS Outlook. This was not appearent with .75. My IT department has had me do a couple of Enterprise Activations in which I have ended up with duplicate contacts and calendar entries on my Storm. Through a variety of manual deletes on my Bberry, now my MS Outlook contacts and Bberry contacts are way out of wack. In fact, I have the contacts I need on my Bberry, but lack the ones I need in Outlook. IT Dept suggests a wipe. But if I do that, I'll loose those contacts on my Bberry that need to get back in Outlook. How can I get both back in sync? Is there an export process that I can move or sync from Bberry to MS Outlook contacts and calendar?

Moved to the BES section since it seems that this is a BES issue.

This should happen automatically.

On your device, go into your contact list, hit the Menu button and chose Options. Under the "Contact Lists" heading, you should only have one entry called "BlackBerry". Click on that entry. Check that "Wireless Synchronisation" is set to "Yes".

Thx for the tip. On my Storm, when I go to Contacts -Options; I have 3 "Desktop" entries under Contact Lists. Only one of them allows me to to set "Wireless Sync" to "Yes". The other 2 entries are grayed out with "Not Available". If I could turn these on I could probably sync the rest of my contacts to Outlook. Perhaps the numerous "Enterprise Activations" have added these. Any way to option these elsewhere?

OK, you should definitely only have one there. I don't think there is a way for the grayed ones to connect them back to the server. You have to get rid of them, so you only have one Contact List. You can try the following:

Go to Options > Advanced Options > Service Book

Scroll through the list and check how many entries ending in

[CICAL]

you have. For example I have

BlackBerry [CICAL]

you probably have

Desktop [CICAL]

Delete the two that don't have a check mark infront of them.

I was hoping once on v5 my address book sync problem from my Bberry to MS Outlook would go away, NOT! I still have 3 separate desktop entries under general options. One at wireless operation and the other 2 are grayed out. In my service books, I only have one entry - Dsktop (CICAL). How can I get my BBerry to "send" all my contacts to update MS Outlook without having to manuall enter 100's of them manually?
