Whether it's a official release or a beta release they will both work.

Looking for the 4.5.0.131 version for the Verizon 8830 and having no luck whatsoever. Any suggestions on a) whether it works on the Verizon 8830 and b) whether it addresses the memory leak problems of 101?

Thanks in advance.

If anyone has a link they could PM, that would also be great.

Thanks in advance.
I'm in the same boat. I have .101 and am getting frustrated with the rate of memory consumption / leaking. I would go back to a 4.2 release except I do not want to give up the new browser.

4.6.0.232 is the latest for the Bold, apparently.

Medic7046, since you haven't read the remainder of this thread, let me post a summary of the various other answers you missed, to answer your question:

Does that mean it's not around? No. The fact of the matter is that they are already using versions higher than .101 for all three CDMA devices (and yes, .101 did exist for the 8130 and 8330).

That said, I haven't seen anyone who's not supposed to have .117 have it.

Does 8x30 4.5.0.133 really exist? At CB they said it was a typo and corrected it back to .131...

They?

Let me say this: Read this thread again about what is posted in the original post and where the information comes from.

In this case, it is not a typo, to the point that I know for a fact that release number is very correct. I just double-checked it!

No offense meant, I just wasn't sure if y'all simply hadn't yet updated to reflect what CB.com thought to be a mistake and corrected on their own site. Since you earlier stated that "This thread is to keep up with the beta OS version from intelligence we gather here and there," I thought perhaps you had similar sources that had made a similar mistake.

The only version of .133 I've seen out there is actually .131, so it would have made me feel better to know I'm not a step behind. Guess I'll keep looking. ;) Thanks for the quick response!
