After you set-up the filters you should see a significant decrease in spam. I know I did.

i have this problem, but that's because this idiot kid decides it's funny to spam the "invite a friend" button on gmail... i got 250 new emails during class one day... so my next point, not to change the subject too much, is there a way to block an email address?

Yes, at your AT&T BIS site, use filters.
Set the filter up so that if the particular email address is the sender, it does not forward to device.

You can also increase your spam settings in your Yahoo account.
