I have setup a BES 5.0.2 environment but I think I made a mistake when I created my MDS Integration Service Pool. I created it when I installed the first server and I specified the FQDN of the pool to match the name of the first server (I wasn't sure what this was at the time). That became a problem when I loaded my second server and joined the existing pool because I need to add a second IP to that DNS record. Since that DNS record corresponds to a machine name as well as the pool it will break other communications to the server if I add an additional IP. Is there a way for me to rename the MDS Integration Service Pool? If I can rename it then I can create a new DNS record with both IPs and I think I'll be ok.

Yes you can. You can change that in the BlackBerry Administration Service (BAS). And for creating a pool you need to do that with DNS Round Robin see: Configuring round robin: Domain Name System(DNS)

Also turn of the DNS Cache on the BES if you work with a pool.

Thanks for the information. I have looked throught the BAS several times and I haven't found where you can rename the pool. Can you point me in the right direction?
