Default 8300 info!

Please Login to Remove!

I was just on the phone with a very knowledgeable person from the t-mobile 611. i was asking her about the 8300 and she kept on saying that she couldnt say and i persuaded her into telling me the info. she put me on hold to talk to some other guy that knew more about the blackberry's release dates. she came back telling me that the 8300 was due out may 7th, and if pushed back, due sometime in may. i really hope this is true because i really cant wait for the 8300.

I'm praying for the 8320 in May but Customer Service reps have a very bad track record.

i think you are right.....if they were not releaseing 8300 in may, why not have 8800s in retail stores? my sources tell me may 24. tmo will be the first carrier to have 8300s according to peeps at rim i know.

That's my exact theory. Why not have it retail? it seems that t-mo has more of a gadget freak based demand rather than business. I believe that's why the 8800 is so limited to the public to just walk in and buy one. It's like customers wont know unless they go online, lol.

P.S. I'll take a papa bear to go please and no, i don't need a bag for that, hahahahaha. snatched it and ran with joy, woooohooooo!

I called a Tmo rep and asked them why the 8800 is only available online and he said he didn't know. I asked him if that's happened before and he said, sure, with the Nokia 8801. I told him that was just cause it wasn't even a Tmo branded phone and it was way more expensive than the rest of their phones. I asked him to give me another example of a phone only available online and he had no other examples. This 8800 business is a little fishy. I'd bet because of this online exclusivity, the 8320 is right around the corner.

Are we sure that T-Mobile is getting the 8320 and not the GPS and WiFi version? The 8350 I guess it is...

No one is really SURE about anything. The 8320 has been mentioned the most but I thought the 8320 had WIFI, Camera, and GPS.

Default 8320

I have looked in the forum but couldnt find anything specific. Is there a difference in the form factor on the 8320? Why all the excitement?

Hey, I like gadgets as much as the next guy.
