By all means, take action & get it replaced. That's why there is a warranty. They cannot all be perfect & yours merits replacement.

Mine is aces across the board. I had to jump through hoops to get it to work initially because of the whole T-Mobile/unsupported device thing. But since it's been going it's perfect!
It's a Rogers-branded Blackberry, unlocked through GSMPhoneSource.com, and has the O2 operating system installed (to get the Blackberry web browser). The final piece of the puzzle was to get a new SIM card as my original was from when the 7230 was a new model.

Mine works fine. Got it as a replacement device due to the fact that my 8300 was dropping EDGE occasionally.

k guys here's my story the first curve i had was fine i guess the feel really wasn't all that good the keyboard was shaky and very squeaky anyways i didn't care im not a baby but when it came to charging it some issues if the cord was moved it stop charging some times so i had it swapped, i begged for a new one since the one i had was just bought anyways as suspected i think they send a refurbished one but who knows anyways... this one is perfect i love everything about it but for some reason in the new one i got every time i pull up the sub-menu a shade of pink coloring shows, is this something i should be worried about i mean is it gonna get worse should i call tmobile and complain that they sent me a bad one ???
oh and do you guys thinkk its a software issue or a screen/hardware issue ??

Got mine the day it was released at ATT and haven't had any issues. I've dropped her a few times, but I refuse to buy another one because I am concerned that I may not get one that is as sound in build and function as she is.
I don't even see the 8300 at ATT anymore....

If you get a new bb message and you hit the red button it will stay. You have to hit the button to the left of the red end button to make it dissapear.

Made the Switch from 8800
Just got the 8310 with gps after having the 8800 for a year. I really liked the 8800 but am glad I switched. The 8310 is smaller, lighter, and has a much better key board. (and I never hated the 8800 keyboard like some). I also like the additional hot key on the right side. The camera is a nice touch, and the media functions just work better than 8800. (OK you won't replace your Ipod or full fledged camera but that's not the point).
To me, unless you really think wifii is a must or you can't have a camera, go with the 8310.

Mine is working great.
My only 'complaint' is the track ball is a bit loose. Frankly I would have never noticed had I not used the track ball on a friends 880 that was not loose at all.

Lag, lag, lag, but its something I can tolerate. I got a 30 day replacement and still have lag. (Ive done all of the memory stuff) My 8700 and my 8100 didn't lag one bit. Also, my first 8300 was built perfectly, but my new one creaks and the USB is off center. Still like my Curve though.

I have my Curve (with Dutch Vodafone) for a week now and I must say that this is the best phone / pda combination I have seen. It works great. I used to have a Nokia N80 in combination with a Palm TX but this is so much better. I do miss the wifi but that would only be a "nice to have"..
Thumbs up!
Rgds,
Jaap.

I think it's hysterical that there is a thread here that is about Curve users being satisfied with the performance of their phones!! Seems that by and large, phone-specific web forums are magnets for people who have issues or want to whine and moan about their phones not being the absolutely perfect devices that they want them to be. That there needs to be a specific thread for satisfied users is almost a shame...but welcome, IMO.
I am looking forward to be soon getting back into the BlackBerry camp after some time away...exploring other options. My previous 8300 Curve worked beautifully, and I am certain that my (hopefully) sooncoming 8310 will perform just as well.

I freakin' love this phone!
The building I'm in has horrible reception so I used to place all my old phones two rooms down so I can get a signal. When I heard my phone ring I would have to run and answer it. But with my new Curve I am using the UMA feature off my companies wireless network and now have my phone placed right in front of me on my desk.
Not to mention I no longer have to login to 5 different websites to read all my internet emails.
Damn I love this freakin' phone.

Mine has been rock solid for the majority of features in the original post of this thread. My complaints? The memory leak, I'd like to see that eliminated. That's about all that jumps to mind. The phone quality is the best I've had yet with a mobile.

Only complaint is having to remove the battery to get to the memory card.
