As others have stated, I'd be interested as long as it did not increase the thickness of the 8300.

I think the 8300 could use a little extra juice, as long as it fits under the stock battery cover I'll buy one.

I'm in for one, but it would have to be the same physical size, to fit under the stock battery cover

if it fit under the stock battery cover, exactly how much additional life does everyone think they would get out of it? might as well buy a 2nd battery, a cradle and swap between the two if you don't expect SOME change in size.

My request is just for a slim extended battery to made like the 8100 with an improved mirror back case. the one on my 8100 rubbed away/scratched very easily despite it only going into and out of my holder.

you can get higher capacity batteries without going to a larger physical size.... look at rechargable AA's the original batteries were like 800mah, the new ones are like 4000mah..they are still the same size, but more then quadrupled the battery life.

Since all SEIDIO extended battery for other phones feature a larger size with new rear phone cover, not sure why everyone things it would be different for the 8300. The battery included in the 8300 is already as efficient as money can buy (RIM did not cut corners on battery life). A larger extended battery is conventional basically two batteries wired together (take it apart, check it out) and this will require a larger rear cover.

I'm in.
Prefer same OEM size, but would go with a slight bump.
as long as it fits in the Leather BB case still.

The SEIDIO treo 650/700 2400mah battery is the same size as the stock (1300? 1400? mah) battery.

OEM batteries are not always the most efficent money can buy.
