Actually from what I can see, it's been referenced here and there by me and others, since it was in beta format for awhile. But its now been officially released. And a search for the "Repligo PDF Reader" confirms the references but not a full thread re the release (there is a thread or two about BeamBerry etc, but from what I'm able to see nada re Repligo "native" viewer).

Regardless, a more direct thread may apprize BB users of something they'd not otherwise be aware of, and this is one program that we've all been waiting for (in my opinion, and from the various posts about the bad alternative viewers).

Yes that is absolutely correct. Just download or transfer a PDF file to your BB and open with the reader.

From the site: "Once stored on your device, documents are accessible even in the absence of wireless coverage."

I am using it. Some pdf files are fine and loads fast but some pdf files takes a long time. Surprisingly, the bigger pdf files are loading faster than the smaller pdf files.

Time necessary to load/display PDF files can vary widely based upon the image compression method used.

Crashed and burned for me. I tried 10 different PDF files of user manuals. They were 16 to 32 pages. All failed to load. :(

Only one out of 8 had a problem for me, and I sent that problematic one (a simple 4 pager, scans from a book) to them this afternoon. The largest one that opens fine is 300+ pages with graphics & such in it (Scott Siglers "Infected" novel, they were giving it away free for awhile). I see you have OS 4.6 though, I'm on 4.5...

Unfortunately, some scanning software produces PDF files that use an older, less common image compression format that is not yet supported. I have the same issue with files that I scan using an older version of Acrobat (v6.0), but I am confident that Cerience will resolve the issue given time. They were extremely responsive during the beta test.
