hello , i bought an blackberry 9360 second hand , and when i tried to register at blackberry.orange.ro (romania) i got this message: your account is suspended or deactivated. contact orange ro. well the problem seems to be this : the previous owner put a sim card already registeres at another mobile provider (vodafone) , just to copy some contacts. he didn`t use for email or register this phone. he called vodafone but they said the phone (by imei and pin) it`s not registered at them. i called again ornage but they said they can`t do anything because the phone doesen`t appear in their data base, and i should contact blackberry to reset or something my imei and pin. But in order to do that i have to pay them 40 or 50 $... can u help me?

You are going to contact Research In Motion and the original carrier and ask for help.

Then the device may be tied to another BlackBerry Data Plan. One of the issues with buying a used BB online, sight unseen. The PIN has to be released by the previous carrier.

You may want to contact the original owner if you are still able, obviously the device is still registered to another account. Otherwise, you can try calling Vodafone, but I wouldn't expect too much.

i talked with the original owner and he told me that on this phone he didnt registered any sim , he just put his sim card, wich he had registered on another blackberry , to copy some contacts. I called vodafone but they told me the phone isn`t registered in theyr data base

Has nothing to do with your SIM card. It has to do with your PIN and it being registered to another carrier.

Call the previous owner, or call Vodafone. I do not see another option.
