Hi, i just bought a 8520 and after i inserted about 10000 contacts, i decided to enable security with a password. i selected the option for the strongest password and then it began to encrypt the data. it is for about 2 days showing an hourglass and every about 5 minutes it closes and opens again.
I tried to remove the battery, but when i connect it back, it continues showing the hourglass.

How can i wipe out all data?

Option 1: With the device on, remove the battery for about 5 minutes. Reinsert, let it boot.

Option 2: See the FAQ for Jl_cmdr. Use that to wipe it and return to factory specs.
