Hi Guys,
I just got my new Black Berry curve 6310 and so far I've had very good experience with it. The problem is that my previous cellphone was a Nokia 6230 and I don't know how to transfer my contacts from the Nokia to the Blackberry. I tried to copy the contacts to the SIM- card, but the copied about half and then, a message appeared, saying that the SIM is full. So now I have only some of the contacts copied to the BB. Any ideas how to do that procedure successful? Do I need some third party software?
The SIM card can only hold up to 250 contacts. I don't think there's a data cable or anything for the nokia phone. You might just have to manually add the rest of the contacts.
The best way is to put Outlook in the middle. Sync the Nokia to Outlook, then sync the Blackberry. I know the Blackberry Desktop Software has a "Switch Devices" wizard but I don't recall if it supports the Nokia 6230. Worth a look though.
Did you set Desktop Manager to sync your contacts with outlook? On the desktop manager click on synchronize, select the configuration tab, and then configure sync. Check mark the address book and then make sure it's selected for outlook. Once that's done resync the blackberry and it should sync the contacts now.
I did exactly what you told me to, but i get a "Synchronization Warning":
"Because the application is configured for wireless synchronization, synchronization is currently unavailable".
It seems like I have to disable Wireless synchronization. How can I do this?

Thank you in advance,

You do have an option. Clear the sim of the 250 addresses and then copy the remaining. A bit of an issue. I use Dekart to help with cell phones...
With Dekart, you can clear addresses as well as copy them. So, you could grab 250 at a time and transfer them using the sim card.
The motorola phone tools have an export feature but you have a Nokia. I am not sure if they have a utility like motorola phone tools.

Goto your address book options and turn off wireless sync on the address book and try again...
