I don't know if many of you knew this, I just discovered it by myself and it might be trivial to some.

Anyway if you bought your Storm 2 from Verizon it probably came with Documents To Go Premium.

Check by going to application folder (or wherever you keep Docs to Go) and open any of the 3 icons.
If you have the option to "Create a new file" under "open" then it is premium version.

Now in that same screen hit the BB menu key and click on an option that goes something like "download PDF To Go" and it will take you to a link to get it FOR FREE since you already have premium version

I did not know this until yesterday. This is helpful, cause as you might know the way to open a PDF file if you don't have this tool is to view it directly from an email which is sometimes annoying.

My Storm 2 did not come with the premium version. Are you sure that you didn't upgrade to a trial version of premium?

I am very sure that it came with this premium version. Its been almost 5 month since I got the phone and I've been using docs to go almost every day.

Maybe they gave it like this for a limited time or something but if this was the case it should have got publicity.

Anyway, if someone else with a Storm 2 from Verizon can confirm a premium version of doc to go on his cellphone and post would be great.

Thanks John, and when you bought it, did it automatically showed the PDF to go icon under download folder? Cause what happened to me is that I already had the excel, word and ppt to go premium but the pdf icon was missing, so I just found that in the menu you have the option to get it.

I believe it did. That was awhile back I am pretty sure it had that as an addition.

Well nevermind, I assumed that because my phone came with Docs to Go Premium, every Verizon Storm 2 would do too... maybe this was luck, who knows... anyway thanks for your input...
