Default "Too many applications open" error - help appreciated!

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

When I update an app, I have started to get the error message saying "too many applications open" even though when I look at what is running, only the basic apps such as browser, messenger etc are actually active.

An app runs OK until I update to the latest version and then I get the error message and it becomes useless. I've stopped updating, but I have several apps that have started to behave like this and even though I have uninstalled and re installed, I still get the same error message.

Any help and advice gratefully received.

Thanks

Generally means low memory. Try a battery pull - while the phone is ON, take out the battery for 30 seconds, then put the battery back in and let the BB reboot.

It could also be a bad SD card. Have heard of that causing a similar error. Might try reformatting the SD if you don't have anything valuable stored on it.
