Default Will upgrading sprint OS prevent dropped connections?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I have the older OS for my sprint (4.2.2.123) and I was wondering if the newer OS have less connection problems. My BB will go from 1XEV to 1x during internet surfing (doesnt matter if it's opera mini or bb browser) and I would have to reconnect with a soft reset. This happens at least once a day. Any input would be appreciated.

well new OS's fix bugs from previous OSs. the only way to know is to try. you can always downgrade if it doesnt work for you.

Honestly, it didn't help me when I upgraded my Sprint 8130 to an newer OS.

I also don't do a soft reset when that happens - I just turn the wireless (Manage Connections) off and back on.

I usually do that first but sometimes that doesnt reconnect and soft reset is required.
