Default Phone numbers not appearing on user account profile on BES version 4.1

Please Login to Remove!

Rookie BES support specialist need to understand how a few users are on the BES and their mobile phone number is missing? How are they able to make contact? Thank you.

BES collects the phone number from the SIM card. If the phone number is not entered on the SIM card it will not show up.

Phone number needs to be programmed on each SIM:

Options>Advanced Options> SIM> (menu option) Edit SIM Phone Number

We had that issue with a few users, but Alltel doesn't use SIM Cards. Now we're on BEs 5.0 and I haven't gone looking for if those users are still missing the phone numbers in their 'profile' on the server.
