My address book has disappeared partially.
I was connecting and refreshing contacts with the Facebook app earlier today, suddenly my 9000 shut down, and re-started itself.

When it went back on, I got the following error screen:

exception:
java.lang.NullPointer
Exception

I clicked the OK button, and now many of my address book contacts are missing. However, in the Address Book>Options>Contact lists>Default
the number of entries is the same as what I originally had. I am sure the contacts are hiding somewhere, I just cannot find them.

I've done several battery pulls, I used the Security Options>Memory Cleaning function in the Options menu, I deleted the Facebook app. (it's awful, anyway.)

Thru the Call Log I was able to restore three contacts back into the book, just by re-dialing, they suddenly reappeared. It's like the contact entries are hidden, or moved elsewhere?

Can someone help me out here?

Have you made a backup of your bold before? Also, try reloading the os.
