Default 2 fully drained battery for 9900 not charging please help me please do

Please Login to Remove!

i have a 9900 for 3 weeks now my 1st week using my 1st battery is ok

i been using it normally like facebook twitter bbm IMs and then one night i forgot to charge it into a wall charger and then when i wake up i wont charge it anymore but then i charge it for 7 hrs *like some suggestion people say*

but still after charging it for 7 hrs the battery is not charging. i did do the battery pulling for many times still no good

its always like this. after i plug it with the wall charger the LED light for 10-20 seconds and into the screen a battery appears with a lightning bolt *i thought i will charge but not* for 10 secs then the lightning bolt will disappear and it will be replace with and X mark

so i thought my battery is toasted so i did buy a new battery

and after i bought a new battery. again its completely fine again fb twitter working again but after the night i purchased it. before i go to sleep i did charge it will a full battery and i go to sleep *with having a 3G signal LED alerts meaning i have it on stand by with working some apps like fb twit bbm*

but when i wake up this morning the battery is still fully drained *after for 8 hrs*

then when i plug it with a charge again it wont charge anymore

so please help me want do i do? i still have a warranty for the battery but how will i deal with the battery? do my phone have an hardware issue? does my charger is destroying my battery? or its wrong to fully drained the JM-1 battery?

please help me having a hard time here

I'm not sure I followed you, but here is what I understand:

With the first battery, you did not leave it to charge one night, found the battery fully drained the next day, and the battery would not charge.

You bought a new battery, but you did leave it to charge over night this time. However, you found this battery fully drained the next day, and the battery does not charge.

Is that right?

Did the second battery ever get fully charged in the device? Or was that night with the second battery the very first time you tried to charge it?

I didn't get the answer to my question.

We need to know if your BlackBerry charged the second battery before you noticed that the second battery would not charge. Did the second battery charge - and you saw that it was charging -- and then later would not charge? Or would the second battery never take a charge?

Some other questions:

It sounds like you use both a wall charger and a cradle. Are you using the same transformer and cord for the cradle as you use when charging using the USB port?

It also sounds like you run the battery down fully before you recharge. Do you do that almost always?

Sounds to me like the charger isn't charging...either that, or the device is defective. @ the OP...what are you using to charge the phone? If it's not the OEM charger, but some aftermarket one, you need to use the OEM charger to help narrow down your issues. You talk about everything to do with the charging issue - but fail to mention what you use to charge the device...please expound on that!

More than what you're getting...which charger are you using?

Never let the battery get below 20% if you can help it. A lithium battery does not like to be below 20% and you can damage it if you let ti run down consistently and/or drain it completely.

From what I can get from your post, if your charger is working correctly, you have 2 damaged batteries.

You need to ask someone with a 9900. Read through the 900 section or use the search feature.
