Hi All .... I’m getting frustrated with my 9900! specifically with the lack of ability to pick up a UK Vodafone signal. Firstly, I know it’s not a network coverage issue as my wife has a 9300 and if I put my sim into her phone I get a full bar signal, compared to my 1 bar on the signal indicator and it often goes to the SOS warning.

Can anyone suggest how I can solve this issue? ...

Something sounds wrong. Have you tried other OS versions and compared? If it's still under warranty you might try exchanging it.

The phone has no warranty, i bought it from an online auction site! Can anyone recommend which software version to go back too??

Also, is it possible to swap out the antenna with a new one?

Before you make any changes to your OS, make a backup of your data.

Which OS are you using now? 7.1.0.2218 is the latest for 9900.
