Default sync contacts urgently

Please Login to Remove!

I have a user with a blackberry from his old company. I just need to sync the contacts before wiping the handheld. The problem is that they must be some It policy that prevent me from doing so. The tutorial to remove IT policy seems to involve wiping the handheld. I can't do it that as a I can't even backup the contacts database. When I open the advanced backup section, the contacts database doesn't appear listed. Is there a way to sync this contacts, send them via email bluetooth ( 451 contacts) or remove the IT policy without deleting his contacts. By the way We don't have a BES server as we use only Windows mobile with active sync.

Many thanks for your help.

On the blackberry is the address book set for Wireless Sync? If so it will not appear in desktop software as a database you can back up. Turn Wireless sync to no and try backup again

I haven't configured a bes but maybe there is an option that encrypt the data and don't allow the contacts to be synched outside the bes organization?
